I travelled to Mexico on a flight from Manchester, UK to Cancun. I wasn't sure what to expect but quickly fell in with a group of young people heading for a hostel. Talking with them gave me some ideas for places to visit, starting with the island Isla Mujeres which is a fast boat ride across the water from the mainland.
